The Machines We Are
Oh the machines we are, we all have our routines we get into and this corporate world we live on is only teaching us that everyone should conform and do things a certain way. Well that is all crap. We should always be inventing new ways to do things and come up with individualistic ideals, not to say you don’t need other peoples help. Just don’t let this corporate world ruin the artistic and uniqueness everyone has. Normal isn’t normal at all, being weird is what makes some interested in you. Being that person that stands out from the normal people is what this corporate world is destroying. Stand up for who you are, and who you are shall be known.
Last night I went to the Predators game with my friend Kris. We literally sat at the highest seats possible, but they were still pretty good seats. They were still 32$ a seat. It was totally worth it though. The Preds lost in the Shootout though. After the game a man approached me when I got to my car and proceed to tell me his story. He told me that he had just got back from Afganistan and his wife went in labor a couple of days ago. He told me he was locked out of his car and he had like 50$. He was just asking for 8$ so he could get a locksmith or something. I had to help the guy out. I try and do things for people just hoping that I will receive the same in my future if I ever need it.
Sitting in the café at Vol State listening to some new music, by the way Beirut is a pretty rad band. This morning my teacher showed up ten minutes late, if it wasn’t for the 30 minute drive down here and the fact that it is piano class, I would have left. I just love music so much. I have a few new songs you guys should check out. I just finished vocals on this track last night. I need to finish the mix and it will be done. Thanks for listening.
